Associate Attorney
We are looking for an ambitious attorney to handle a large caseload of No-Fault Arbitration hearings as well as litigation cases in NYC and Nassau County. An ideal candidate is someone who works well independently as well as in a team setting. An attorney who is confident and has great interpersonal skills in the courtroom and amongst their colleagues is imperative.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Admitted in NY (NJ admission is a plus)
- 1-2 years of experience with No-Fault litigation and/or insurance litigation and/or personal injury litigation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend Arbitration hearings and court appearances in NYC and Nassau County.
- Handle and managing litigation files including drafting pleadings and motion practice
- Legal writing, drafting, editing and research
- Negotiate and settle cases

Paralegal
Looking for a paralegal to join our expanding team. Must have a good work ethic, initiative, and a desire to grow alongside the firm.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Prior experience in drafting pleadings as well as a familiarity with rules and procedures of NY Courts.
- Knowledge in Filing documents with the Court, including E-Filing, and service
- Ability to handle and coordinate multiple calendars for attorneys
Desired Characteristics:
- Ability to learn new software and programs
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines
- Experience with NY No-Fault and/or NJ PIP a plus.
- Experience with American Arbitration Association or Forthright a plus
